And pretty similarly in all missions after that. Once YOU have those metropolis cities, you can go on to attack the humans, finish off the dwarfs, or take time to build up a non-cannon fodder army, depending on your preferences. You can have the Dwarven heartland conquered by turn 10-15. So you can win fairly easily by attacking immediately after securing the swamp. However, you start with a bunch of decent level heroes (Should all be level 8 and hopefully with some nice magic items and flying mounts from the previous maps) and by liberating the cities you can get quite a lot of Goblin cannon fodder. Oh, and on normal campaign difficulty the AI is set to Lord and King level, meaning they'll get a 33% and 67% income bonus, respectively. The Human starts with another metropolis and a bunch of villages. The Dwarf starts with four metropolis level cities. You have some minor mines and mana nodes, but no good treasure sites and there is little room to expand. You will have 4 outposts, two villages, and can rebuild one more ruined settlement. If you move fast, you can have a few stacks of Goblin cannon-fodder around turn 5 or so. You CANNOT afford to "get your economy up and running." It's a bad idea in general, in this game.
